Alright everyone - catch your breath ---- heres the upcoming lineup!!!!!!!
Friday, Oct 8, Blitz 7-9PM - meet HEB (Bosque Side)
Saturday, Oct 9, Football 7PM
Tues, Oct 12, Monthly Meeting, Wear CPA shirts, we are doing our video for CPA public service announcement. Don't forget to bring your volunteer hour sheets to the meeting.
Wednesday, Oct 13, COP PSA, if you want to particpate in this video please wear COP uniforms, meet at PD - 6PM. Following the PSA taping, we have another Blitz - 7-9PM, meet at HEB.
Also, if you want a stadium blanket (Convention one) bring your $10 to the meeting.
Also, Richland Mall have a fund raiser program for non-profit groups. The group sells wristbands for $5 that allows that person (must have wristband in order to get in) to get into the Mall (Nov. 14 from 6-9PM). Those who buy the wristband will recieve the opportunity to win doorprizes throughout the evening will at the Mall, receive special discounts at the stores and or get a free gift with their purchase. BUT, best of all, we keep all the proceeds from our sales - I request 60 of the wristbands - which translates
to a $300 fund raiser if we sell them all.
I'll make copies of the cover letter so everyone who acquires a wristband will have the information on the event.
And if thats not enough to make you want to soak your aching body - they are looking for volunteers to help with the Waco Fire Dept run on Sunday, Oct. 10. time is 730am to noon. Call Dan Devinna for more info. AND if thats not enough, don't forget the Special Olympics folks are looking
for volunteers Oct 14-16, Call Sharon Holt 750-7660.
And last but not least, please try and raise some funds for the convention!

"Terry came back from the National Convention with lots of information, lots of ideas for our convention.
Lets not forget we need items for our raffle basket!!!
We have graduation this week for the 25th CPA class. For those attending CERTS, don't forget about class tonight.
If anyone feels like doing some mundane work, I have some at the office. Just give me a call. Bill Johnston reworked the sponsorship letter for fund raising - it looks terrific!!!!!!
COP patrolling is looking good for the year - but don't forget, lets try to get out as much as possible now the weather is getting warm things will pick up."
